The corporation is situated in Postmasburg, the centre of the mineral basin in the Northern Cape Province, South Africa. It was founded in 1978.
It is a Mechanical Engineering company with heavy engineering capabilities in the machining, boiler making and maintenance environment. We render services and supply product, mainly to the mining industry. The company is fully BBBEE compliant.
The corporation commenced operations, mainly as machinists of locally produced steel and iron castings. Over the years it expanded and now offers a range of services and products, such as specialised maintenance and installation of equipment and plant.
A strong plate-work facility was added to enhance the product line. It also offers mechanical design and drafting capabilities enabling the undertaking of turnkey projects. The corporation maintains and implements a quality management system in accordance with the ISO 9002 series, but is not officially listed at the SABS as such.
